Stephen & Rochelle,
If there were a level meter for kindness, then Stephen and Rochelle would score a ‘hundred million billion out of a million’ – like my 5-year-old would say. THE most relaxed and chilled out couple ever with a photography requirement of: “Do you want you want, we trust you.” So, I did – and it shows! Most definitely a favourite Durban Wedding.
Their weekend celebrations started off with the bride and groom treating their following to dinner, followed by handing out the customized gifts and personal letters for each of their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Just another testimony of how thoughtful and kind this couple is. The girls did some last-minute chores that turned into a fun game and the boys treated themselves to some cigars.
The wedding day was filled with lots of laughter, banter and fun. The couple did not complain once for all my ideas and we had a blast with some very creative photos. Stephen (and so many others at the wedding), are avid nature and wildlife photographers, so the pressure was on!
Stephen wrote an introduction for each of their following for their entrance into the reception which was another thoughtful and fun element they added. After the heartfelt speeches, there were some interesting dance moves on the dancefloor that made for great photos. Talloula has a phenomenal garden, so I decided to do some midnight photos out in the garden which as the owner said was “a first” – you know me! ?
Stephen and Rochelle, I cannot thank you enough for the privilege to have me taking your wedding photos for you. It was just awesome and a Durban wedding that I will always cherish.
