Views Boutique Hotel Wedding

Views Boutique Hotel Wedding with spectacular views of the ocean.

Marcel & Lauren reside in Pretoria but decided on a Views Boutique Hotel Wedding in Wilderness, Garden Route. The couple said their vows on the deck of the hotel with the most spectacular ocean views.

The couple first met through mutual friends after which Facebook had a minor role in starting off the relationship. They are both the most down to earth, genuine kinds of people that value their family and closest friends. The wedding was intimate and emotional. Lauren looked stunning with her make up done by wedding makeup artist, Wilna Allpass. A highlight of the ceremony was when the rings was presented on Marcel’s deceased mother’s album – complete with personal notes and memorabilia of her family.

We took the majority of the couple portraits in a designer house a few kilometers from the Views Hotel after which the entire wedding party braced the daunting steps down to the beach for their sparkled first dance while they were treated to the most beautiful of sunsets – what a great idea!

The next morning, we all got up early for some more photos on the beach. I’m used to shooting in the freezing cold water of Cape Town, so the water was refreshingly warm in Wilderness.   We were lucky to get a super blue moon low tide that made for some beautiful scenes.

I have been blessed lately with some of the most amazing couples I could ever dream of. Marcel and Lauren are two of those very special people that will forever be dear to me. Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer and allowing me to be part of your most beautiful day!

Ps – From a photography point of view, I can highly recommend a Views Boutique hotel wedding. The hotel itself is just a treat in terms of photography backdrops and spectacular art pieces. Then you have the greenery to work with as well as of course the beautiful ocean views and beach.
